Ja eindeutig, da der SP4649T von Spektrum bisher nicht mit dem Brain funktioniert hat

Der Inhalt von einem Fernsehfilm wird auch nicht besser wenn ich mir den auf einem Modernen HD Fernseher anschaue anstatt auf einem Röhren Gerät.
Aber dennoch würde ich einen HD Fernseher vorziehen.

Mal abgesehen davon wurden ausser der Telemetrie auch andere Bereiche verbessert. (zum Beispiel wurde an der Rettung noch rumgefeilt).

Also so ganz hab ich das jetzt noch nicht kapiert was bzw wie das mit der Telemetrie funktionieren soll.

Die Einheit kann jetzt mehr loggen, ok.

Wie kommen die Daten denn da rein? Adapter HUB für den Dateneingang?

Wie kommen denn die Daten da raus an die Funke?

Und welchen Vorteil hat man jetzt nochmal genau wenn alles nochmal durchs FBL geschleift wird anstatt gleich zur Funke?

Die ESC-Daten kommen vom ESC durch ein Kabel ans Brain statt an einen Logger/Telemetriemodul. DAs Brain loggt dieses Daten dann zusätzlich zu seinen eigenen im internen Speicher. Ansonsten bräuchte man dafür ein jlog o.ß..

Und am Brain hängt ganz normal ein telemetriefähiger Empfänger, der dank bidirektionaler Verbindung die Daten erhält und zur Funke sendet.

Für Hobbywing / Spektrum heißt das:
Früher: Regler -> Jlog -> TM1000 + FBL + Empfänger
Neu: Regler -> FBL -> SPM4649T (und es kommen zusätzliche Daten durch und es gibt einen zentralen Loggingspeicher, wo vorher 2 waren).

Schon witzig, dass bei mir der 180 CFX dann demnächst sogar Telemetrie hat und evtl. ESC-Daten zurück sendet.

Zusammen mit einer Jeti-Funke ist das Update echt spitze. Hoffentlich schaffen sie die Unterstützung vom Kosmik bald. Dann brauch ich keine jlogs mehr. Jlog sind einfach viel zu teuer in Relation zur gebotenen Leistung. Mangels Alternativen kauft sie doch jeder.

Schön, wenn man mit so einem Update Geld und Komponenten sparen kann.

Für Hobbywing / Spektrum heißt das:
Früher: Regler -> Jlog -> TM1000 + FBL + Empfänger
Neu: Regler -> FBL -> SPM4649T (und es kommen zusätzliche Daten durch und es gibt einen zentralen Loggingspeicher, wo vorher 2 waren).

Du hast noch vergessen das sogar die Satelliten bei diesem Empfänger nicht mehr benötigt werden.
Und was noch ein Vorteil ist das man bei Spektrum nun auch die Flight Log Daten der Antennen angezeigt bekommt! Das war bei reinem Satelliten betrieb ja nicht möglich.

Außerdem erhält man deutlich mehr Daten über den Regler.
hier mal das was man vom Hobbywing V4 Regler erhält, tatsächliche Regleröffnung in Prozent, Temperatur der Regler FETs, sogar die Temperatur der Caps, den anliegenden Gaswert in Prozent, Akkuspannung, BEC Spannung, Drehzahl, Motorstrom.

Beim Iisi wird der TXe-K mit dem HW 160 auch direkt am Progboxport angestöpselt. Dort kann man Drehzahl , Spannung , Kapazität usw direkt aus dem Regler holen ohne irgend etwas löten zu müssen. BTW funktioniert die Iisi Variante auch mit Kontronik. ( http://www.iisi-rc.com/IISI-RC-D/TXE.html ) .
Ist zwar ziemlich Offtopic, aber soviel zum Progport beim Hobbywing V4. Beruht quasi auf dem selben Prinzip.

ja klar, geht ja auch mit J-Log, nur hier ist es zum Nulltarif und benötigt außer einem Stück Kabel nichts.
Das TXE-K für den Hobbywing kostet immerhin 90€ und man hat wieder ein extra Kästchen!

hier ist auch nochmal eine Auflistung was alles beim Brain1 dazu gekommen ist.

an extract of the release notes related to the innovations and improvements that all Brain1 users can benefit from free:

- In the Size selection, added the selection for two or three main blades
- Added Spektrum SRXL decoding
- Added Spektrum DSM2 11ms decoding and binding with 2048 step and more than 7 channels (compared to 22ms)
- Added the "NEW" HoTT-SUMD/UDI/Xbus-B/Mpx-SRXL protocol with a standard connection to the CH3/s-rec port using a normal 3 wire Female/Female cable (no more split cable needed)
- The "OLD" HoTT-SUMD/UDI/Xbus-B/Mpx-SRXL is no more selectable, and if you go in the page of receivers with the old HoTT-SUMD/UDI/Xbus-B/Mpx-SRXL selected, all work but a warning appear to update to the new preferred single port configuration
- Now S.Bus & S.Bus2 decoding is more reliable also with poor signal
- Sometimes with SW, during the change of receiver type, the reception of the radio signal is blocked and is needed to first select standard receiver then the new receiver. Fixed
- Implemented a little change in governor to be able to read and compensate more fast RPM change (fast overspeed with nitro very dangerous for combustion motors)
- Autorotation bailout ramp improved
- Now at the end of a rescue, the return of pitch to the stick value is 50% faster

- Changed the default values of Feed Forward set by Beginner and Sport icons
- Revised the filter used in vibration log that now read better also the very low frequencies
- In panel 11 "Rescue" of the wizard, in the sub panel "AUX" is now more clear that also with AUX (like Setups) is possible to activate only the Auto Level other than Rescue and is more clear to see that the Auto Level is activated on the AUX channel with powerup switch positions
- Reduced default values of elevator D gain for each size
- Added to the names assigned to the timer "Model Flight Time"
- Flight counter & Timer don-t increase if the user is connected to the unit with one app (Windows, Andorid, iOS) during setup operations
- Changed name of panel 12 from "Governor Setup" to "Throttle & Governor Setup" otherwise some user without governor active doesn't set the "Throttle out"
- MIN & MAX values of Throttle Out are now the first items in panel 12 and in Advanced -> Common -> Governor
- In Wizard, Governor ratios and divider moved in the first Throttle Out panel
- Divisors and dividends now are in the correct position in the two Governor gear calculators
- In Wizard, Governor "Engine is electric" moved from MIN/MAX panel into the Gain panel
- In Wizard, Governor put a scrollbar to allow you to see the whole also on small monitor screen
- When you connect a new unit or after a factory reset, a "factory values loaded" message appears to confirm also that the factory reset worked
- Added at the end of the .MTR files the kind of unit from which .MTR file is saved
