Dear customers of Kontronik.

Our engineers have found a potential issue that can cause a KOSMIK ESC to be rendered useless during an update.
We reccomend that until we have rectified this issue that you do not update your KOSMIK ESC. This affects all versions of the KOSMIK.

Any ESC in use will not have an issue, this is only during an update that this issue may occur.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Aus welcher Quelle stammt das?

Auf der Kontronik HP findet man nichts darüber, auch die Updates kann man weiterhin normal runterladen.

...und was heisst das jetzt* mein letztes update von vor 4 wochen von 3.1 auf 4.0 kann das BEC zum abrauchen bringen*

Das heisst dass vermutlich beim Programmieren ein Fehler auftreten kann.

Also einfach nicht updaten zur Zeit.

Da steht "Onlineupdate" .... klingt so als gäbs ne Software die sich die Updates aus dem netz holt?!

Habe auch bereits auf Facebook nachgefragt... aber noch keine Antwort erhalten....

Ps.:
vielleicht hat Kontronik nur eine ProgDisc (zum Updaten, initialeinspielen der Firmware) und die ist Ihnen eingegangen

pps.: Antwort auf Facebook bekommen... egal welches Update.... vielleicht in Problem im Bootloader...

Kontronik selbst muss das Update sicher nicht aus dem Internet laden...

Dear Kontronik customers

On November 13, 2013 an update advisory was issued concerning the KOSMIK update process. At this time we are happy to announce that we have solved the intermittent error during the update process. Please instruct all customers to update their PROGDISC to the newest firmware v1.9. This new PROGDISC firmware will insure the successful update of the KOSMIK to v4.2.

Instructions for the update will be on our homepage, but you may also send the PROGDISC or KOSMIK to our service center for the update.

...es gab keine V1.9 für die Progdisc und keine V4.2 für den kosmik - jedenfalls nicht in den letzten Wochen auf der Kontronik Homepage!!!

Nicht nur du - ich bin offensichtlich auch blind

Fände eine kleine "Version History" wäre für interessierte Nutzer schon eine wichtige Sache.

Spiele einfach nur ungern Updates auf, ohne die geringste Ahnung, was da geändert wurde.
