Just read this from Curtis(allmyrc.com) concerning Rave ENV kits and Total G flybarless units:
"Today I got to test the final part change and it all worked well. Which is great news for getting solid delivery times.
We did run out and fly some for quick testing. It was rainy and quite windy but the machine flew well and I was really enjoying flying it. But just to be safe I stopped after only two flights and we came back to the warehouse to pack up.
As for the delivery dates on the ENV and Total G. We feel quite confident we can have the ENV and Total Gs finished within about 15 business days. That puts us in around the end of April. So if you look at the end of April that sounds like a long time, in actual days it is coming up quick.
The pushback on the kit date was from a couple of "last minute" changes I made after finding a few annoying issues in test flying. We could have come to market with those issues. But I felt the fix was worth the relatively small wait. The pushback on the Total G really was because I made a poor estimate. I completely underestimated the amount of time it will take to fully manufacture, QC and function test the Total Gs. We QC at several stages of production as well. I was using my own estimates closer to what the Mini G and others had taken. All this adds up to the Total G still being on basically the same time frame as the ENV. End of April.
My apologies to everyone that my end of March estimate as a bit off. I know people are anxious to have them in hand as am I. The good news is both the ENV and Total G are working great and I think people will be very happy with their performance. We are going to a lot of effort in all stages to make them top notch and I think it will pay off when people start getting them. Both the ENV and Total Gs are (and have been) in production. And in the grand scheme they both will be here very soon.
I have to go catch a flight back to the US. See some of you guys next weekend at the Austin Fun-fly"
