    C-SPEC in 3DNT (help in english please)

    PLEASE HELP!!! If you can not help me with the below, please refer me to someone that can help me in English - it is very difficult to try and figure out what is going on in a German site if you can only speak English.

    I am from Cape Town, South Africa. Please help me in English. There is only 2 NT's here. We both started with Webra motors and are not happy. My friend changed to OS FX with Lottle carb. His heli is now running with no vibrations but the FX lacks the power of the YS or C-Spec as in our Tempest and CS helis. I am concidering the C-Spec Heim version but am batteling with information.
    1. Is any one using the C-Spec in there NT's?
    2. What carburator are you using (Lottle or standard OS 3 needle carb)?
    3. What fuel are you using? I would like to use Cool Power 10% so I think the original carb will be the best for me*?
    4. Any problems with Vibrations?
    5. Do you get the C-spec with reverse crank?
    6. Where is the C-spec available?
    7. Has any one owned both FX and C-Spec to compare?

    I must mention that we do not like to fly F3C or hover a lot, we like to fly 3D only and would like the best for this purpose. Nitro is olso not a problem here. If the flight time is 10 minutes and not 18 minutes it is also not a problem.

      Hi Andrew,

      use the fx for 1200-1600 rpm (rotorspeed) with the clutch bell 7,7 (standard).
      The Webra engine and also the OS C-Spec run smoother and powerfuller with the 8,3 clutch bell which you can order direkt from Jan Henseleit Jan Henseleit.

      2. What carburator are you using (Lottle or standard OS 3 needle carb)?
      I like to use the Lötterle carb only for 0%-5% Nitro fuel. You can change the needle to fly with 10% Nitro but than you can also use the standard OS carb.

      4. Any problems with Vibrations?
      Remember you have an 91 engine and no 60 or 70 engine. A little bit Vibration is normal but not so much that you can`t see the tail fin.

      5. Do you get the C-spec with reverse crank?
      No.

        Thanks for the advise guys

        We have also been advised to try the new 3 needle webra carb,dont know if it will help.
        Our other heli's use C-spec and YS91, no tunning problems and runs very smooth on 10% cool power.
        I will keep looking but if i dont get webra to work for me i think i will try the C-SPEC standard carb and fuel containing 15 to 20 % nitro.
        If this is the case that i use +- 20% nitro what should the oil content be *

          Hi Andrew,

          I found something in an older thread:

          CoolPower 15% Nitro Heli u. Flug 16% Oil
          CoolPower 12.5% Heli 18% Oil
          CoolPower 30% Heli 24% Oil

          When using 20% Nitro you will probably end between 18 and 20% of Oil
