hi guys,

First post around here and hopefully not the last. I've been doing scale Rc work for wuite some time, but mostly in the plane dept. Should you have any interest here are some of my past projects.

I have a personal preference towards using tin/foil plating on my molds. This method yielded quite high "realism-ratio" on my plane projects, so I decied trying a heli project this time around.

So i'd like to presnt you my Huey UH1D in 1/8.5 scale, length-143 sm for 60-90 class .
this is my first steps

Hello,

it looks like you really know what you`re doing

Will you take out the interior shape to make the heli fly some day or how will you go on with this?

Only the metal moulding would be to thin and unstable, i guess, so what will you do inside?

But that you do that in your flat is really cracy. You must have a good wife.
Do you want to build this fuselage for sale or only for you?

Manu , actually I build airplanes see the links of first post ,this projekt I made for several my friends who whant fly some interesting scale helicopter So I builded it for them ........ one of them will put in nitro mechanic,the other guys electric .

hahhaha Rossi yes my wife is a veeeery patient ,but never know ))))))

Hi again
The continuation :
I made the mould and start with the real composite fuselage.
I use 80gr m2 glas for first layer and then 160 gr m2 glas for other layers .
I start with the gel coat,I make it my self . All epoxi with I use is a germany EPOXI resine LN1 .....

the first picture made my daughter



Here I put the gel coat






And this is the result of all this work
