Aus GY502 wird GY601

Habe einen interessanten Eintrag in einer Futaba Newsgroup gefunden:

.. Just press both Menu buttons while powering on the gyro. Among the endless
parameters in the GY502 hidden menu you will find the FMod which is a
standard function in the GY601 mode and the PlsW which lets you use
an S9251 narrow pulse servo with the GY502. However, the gyro remains
a GY502 until the extra components are added on the PCB and the gyro
is "told" that it is a GY601. Then a "RESET" via the hidden menu
loads all the configuration parameters for the GY601. After this the
gyro will greet the user with *GY601* on the display and the menu
will be a normal GY601 menu.

Aber was ist mit diesem Satz? Welche Komponenten fehlen denn noch auf dem PCB (printed circuit board -> Platine)?
