CC Ice100 Firmwareupdate

Hallo Kollegen,

habe auf meinem Ice100 noch die Firmware 3.21 drauf. Nach ziemlich Problemen das Heck meines Logo 500SE ruhig zu bekommen, bin ich schließlich mit Gouverner Gain 12 erfolgreich gewesen. Jetzt schwingt sich das Heck nicht mehr sinnlos auf. Auch beim v-stabi habe ich jetzt wieder hohe Werte bei der Heck-Empfindlichkeit.

Lohnt es sich die aktuelle Firmware (ich denke es ist die 3.26) draufzuspielen? Beginnt dann das Einstellen vom Gain usw. von vorne?

Hi,

die Werte bleiben erst mal wie sie sind, aber die Castle Soft regelt anders, ich kann aber nicht sagen ab welchem Update. Wurde aber definitiv besser.

Ich kann dir nur raten upzudaten, dann kannst du auch nochmal ein bischen mit den Werten spielen. ( Wenn dir danach ist)

Schau Dich mal auf der CC Seite um. Da hat sich wohl was geändert wenn Du von 3.22 oder niedriger auf 3.23 oder höher updatest:

Important information for Helicopter Pilots Upgrading to Firmware Version 3.23

The latest firmware included in this release changes the transmitter endpoints used to determine headspeed in governor mode! DO NOT FLY YOUR HELICOPTER UNTIL YOU HAVE PROPERLY CALIBRATED YOUR ENDPOINTS FOR THIS VERSION OF THE SOFTWARE!

This change was made to accommodate many of the new flybar-less systems on the market today. They have limited throttle ranges and were not able to hit the endpoints required for governor mode to arm or reach the third headspeed in governor fixed mode.

Below are two images that graphically depict how the ESC interprets throttle values (in ms) in older versions of firmware and in this release. This information should help you understand how the endpoints have changed, however, with the proper programming technique, you will not need to know the exact throttle values.

Please watch this video for a full explanation on how to calibrate your transmitter to properly operate your ESC. This procedure will work with both the old and new versions of software.
