Hi,

when i did build mine, i took a few pictures:

Beam Helicopters Beam AvantGarde build log (pictures)

I will not comment the building as it would be a litle " biased" lol, but i had lot of pleasure to build this one anyway

For Flying, i found the dampening a bit soft for hard 3D and reported at the factory, they will have different spacers available in the next few weeks ( 2 or 3 weeks as Lua hollidays are coming up in Korea from 21 to 24th of January)

ich kann der Konstruktion nix abgewinnen.
Jedes Teil ist so filigran konstruiert das man bei einem Crash wohl gleich einen neuen Baukasten ordern kann. Da wird alles krumm sein.
Is nicht mein Ding.

Hi,

i do not see where was the " pushing "marketing in my answer. Any link to any shop? Any prices informations? Any promotion or funly statement ? No, i do not think so...

What i would call a quick, biased and unobjective statement is made on the product brand i represent: I onlly answered to a "biased" mention that said in short that the helicotper was weak and would blow apart in any crash...

I think my comments were totally in respect with the forum rules, i do not say any bad from any competitor and only answer that to make such statements, would be appreciable first to have the machine in the hands rather than just comment from pictures " .

Someone asks for build experience, i just point to my own build pictures, and said that for comments i would let customer talk by themselve <- I did not say our helicopter was beter than this or that or better to buid. i only said " i had great pleasure, as a modeler (it's 20 years i'm a hobbyist), to build it.

But i can't let such negative things been said about a so called weak machine, based on just nothing, without having the right to answer.... It's a bit of easy, isn't it *?

If for the thread host answering questions and telling objective things is said to be " pushing marketing" then i'm definitly sorry and i do not live on same planet as these people, then just delete my post, and my account here..

Ja - es geht leider langsam in Richtung "pushing marketing".

Ich habe hier wirklich schon zwei Augen zugedrückt bisher - aber es müssen auch negative Kommentare erlaubt sein, ohne gleich vom Hersteller "gebügelt" zu werden.

Fabien, ich würde um etwas "Zurückhaltung" bitten - ich war in der Auslegung unserer Regeln hier bisher wirklich großzügig.

Naja gut, ich kann Fabien aber verstehen, auf den Bildern wirkt er zwar etwas zierlich, aber wenn man ihn mal "in echt" gesehen hat, denke ich, sieht das ganz anders aus. Zumindest war mein Eindruck als ich ihn gesehen habe: Massiver Heli. Also Filigran war da wirklich nix. Ich denke die haben sich da schon Gedanken über die Crashfestigkeit gemacht, und wenn ich das Geld hätte würde ich ihn mir Kaufen

thanks for your message.

I understand the need for negative comments of course.
Also when there is a product problem or questioning, i always answer the truth: if there is a design flaw then we correct it and apologise. IF there is a technical explanation, i give it. And if there is what i estimate a wrong statement, then i corect it.
If you one day check my posts on "Rc Groups" (Bricobrac is my nickname) you will see that i have always been straight and clear in anything i said.

I answered here because it was just wrong suppositions in what concerns me, reading from someone who is a professional of RC ( HEli Chriss) and who has a shop that our product is in some ways " bad" and would "blow apart" in a crash was not very nice, especially if he never had one in his hands ? To false statements i only answered in some ways " if you get your hands on it by visiting the distributor, or on a funfly or whatsoever and you might revisit your judgment". I did not say our heli was crash proof, only that no, it's not a crystal glass either..

What i did was not Marketing at all, it was a simple answer with very clear and honnest points underligned.

We try to bring support and clear information to the customers, this is called service, i answer to people questions on Helifreak, Runryder, Rc Heli addict, France Helico,... and i leave marketing tasks to magazines advertising of paid advertising and to the German distributor ( the only thing i put are mostly videos in fact when we have new ones).

If i could host a German Speaking customer support forum by myself for this i would be more than happy, but the fact is that my GErmany is not good enough so it helps when someone can correct my wrong German or help to translate an information here.

Anyway, message received, but please do not ask me to remain silent when i read such easy things especially from a RC Heli professional. I have nothing against Heli Chris at all but i would have awaited from such a person something more "delicate" in his way of saying things. Saying the parts look delicate, no problem. BUt saying the heli would blown apart and force to buy a new kit in any crash.. No way i can accept this without having a right to answer. If you accept the negative suppositions ( not comments, but suppositions..) then i do not see what ind of nice gesture is done by allowing me to answer to this, because i do it on the same rights that are allowed to any forum users: answering right.

Hallo Fabien,

wird es bei dem Heli auch einen schönen Paddelkopf geben ? Oder bleibt es bei der FBL-Version. Ich kann schon verstehen, dass zuerst die FBL-Version auf den Markt kommt, da man sich ja bei dem Paddelkopf ein paar mehr Gedanken zu der Abstimmung machen muss. Aber den Beam gab/gibt es ja auch in beiden Versionen. Daher....

Hi,

for the moment, only a FBL version will be available. It is possible that on the second semester of 2012, we propose a Flybar "modification kit" depending on how things go on. At the moment, less and less people fly with flybars unfortunatly but we still have little demand anyway. I will be able to say if we make the Flybar "mod kit" available here about 4 month approximatively.
