    DS 22 Swashplate offset

    Hello
    I am building a Schluter DS 22 .
I noticed a 7° offset of the swashplate on the building plan .
I built without it because modern radios permit mixes to achieve this.
What do you think , how much mix between elevator and aileron have I to put ?
    Thanks for opinion

    Hello Andre,
the value depends by the rc-system you use.
Settings should be similar to 7° for begining.
The exact value must be flown, in any case.

If you have no idea what the value is you can test it while flying without mix and change the value to see what happens. That´s not so difficult.

But I personally prefer the mechanical solution. It´s easy to set, even at the airfield.

      Hi
      Thanks for reply .
I intend to begin with 5% and see what happens
I wonder how it flies without offset ....
      Will test , just curious
      Regards
      Andre

The only thing you'll notice is that it is also moved sideways when nick steering.
And the same happens when steering roll.
If the compensation is set perfect you don t recognice another movement than your input.

Yes I noticed that both nick and roll need mixes to achieve mecanical offset
          Thanks
