    So you have now a normal sz-h engine and i think your problem is realy the hatori 970 that is for a very small speed range. The 700 has a wider speed range and i also liked it more.
    The headspeeds i fly are 1400 / 1700 / 1850 thats enought i think - the engine runs on torque and it does not hurt in the ears. I dont like it very loud ...

      today i ordered a hatori 700.
      anybody has any tips regarding the lenth of the pipe [ abstimlange?] ?
      i have the 13 cm krummer on it and a sz engine .
      looking forward to fly it !

        can anybody tell me the approx abstimlánge for a hatori 700 ?
        i know it is different for the difference used fuel etc , but just a rough measure i can start with ?
        will it work if i start with the header [jan's header , approx 13,5 cm] and the hatori 700 just 1 cm in between ?

          39 - 41cm should work , start with 41 and then go shorter

            ok , flew it for a couple of weeks , not much but 6 or 7 flights .
            this week my fuelsuply was finished , and i bought a big batch of tornado 15% [100 liter :] ]
            i filled the nt with hatori 700 up and adjusted it a bit .
            after 2 test/ tuning flights i can say , amazing !! the smooth powerfull way this engine/exhaust/fuel is flying is the best i ever experienced .
            i was getting so much power , even with 1700 rpm ! , and yet it stayed cool .
            wheni was pushing it in idle 2 [aprox 1900 rpm ] i really stickbanged it to try and let the engine tuck in [it wouldnt :] ] after landing i saw that the max temp reached infligt was only 112 graten :]so thanks for help guys [marcel in particilair ] and i keep wondering why i am getting more power out of the nt then out of the mpxl and am i the only person who likes the nt better ? ??
