    Verbesserte Geometrie 600EFL (DFC)

    Hallo zusammen...hab das ganze mal auf Englisch abgetippt für'n anderes Forum aber ich glaube hier gehört's auch noch hin!

    Hello to all of you...

    I got mine today!

    For those of you who want to improve their Cyclic Values in Vbar (Beast also i guess)...

    First off all it's with the DFC Rotor Head!

    I also installed the "Upper" Rotor-Balls into the Swash when first installing the DFC - so no mesurement with STOCK setup -> Although the balls come with the standard 600EFL rotor head - so just use them. Don't know how they are called in english - but the ones that sit on the large link (M3,5x10,5mm?) and connect the blade to the swash -> Use the shorter "Upper-Old-Head" ones instead of the ones supplied (M3,5x12.5mm?)...

    Here are the parts needed:

    DFC Rotor Head
    Linkage Ball Set HN7065T (700 Nitro)
    Linkage Ball Set H60224T (600E Flybar Version)
    KDE Main Rotor Holder Arm - XT Version (DFC Version!)

    And now for the mesurement series:

    Head - Swash Inner - Swash Outer - Cylcic Value - Max Pitch with Cyclic Ring 60

    DFC - 10,5mm ("Stock" as described changed from top to bottom) - 9,77mm (Stock) - 73 - 20,5°
    DFC - 10,5mm (-"-) - 11,77mm (H60224T) - 75 - 20,0°
    DFC - 8,5mm (HN7065T) 11,77mm (-"-) - 80- 19,5°
    KDE - 8.5mm (-"-) - 11,77mm - 88 - 17,5°

    After installing I had to relevel the Swash and get the MIN / MAX equal again because you "lower" everything when using the shorter balls / KDE Arm...did not change my "screwd link length" though - becaus 0.5° are to little to correct...just used "vbar-subtrim-tab"...

    After adjusting all to 12,0° Pitch and 8,0° Cyclic I'm now at:

    90 Pitch
    89 Cyclic
    61 Cyclic Ring with +19,0° / -17,5° on my max cylic/collective combined...

    You can't get it even as per -18,25° / +18,25° because the DFC is not (so) adjustable in height....I rather screw the plasitc links on the DFC completly minus one turn in...

    Test flight is still to go tomorrow, but I think it will really rock! My 450 Pro Vbar flies "nicer" through rainbows/stops as it has 86 on Cyclic anyway...now the 600EFL MUST fly nicer too

    For you guys from europe:

    KDE Shipping with USPS International Express took only from the 16th to the 21st ...so 5 days (including a weekend) - but it's kinda pricy with USD $40...

    The 2 parts are like 25€ and the DFC around 60€...

    Not cheap but I'm pleased with the improved numbers!

    I hope it was helpfull...after all you can say:
    Smaller inner (8,5mm vs. 10,5mm) plus 5 Points
    Larger outer (9,77mm vs. 11,77mm) plus 2 Points
    KDE vs. Stock plus 8 Points

    Hope the unequal max/min pitch due to the Cyclic Ring aren't gonna be a bummer...also the decreased range from 20,5° to more or less 18,25°...10% less "agility" ...Are you ever gonna need it?!
