AccuRC 1.5 (beta) - low specification laptop demonstration - YouTube
For those interested the Laptop used in this video is an Acer Gemstone 5920G.
We ran AccuRC at full quality settings for this video which you can see from the shadows on the rotordisk in flight and also the full reflections in workbench.
The specification for this laptop is as follows:
Intel Centrino 2Ghz Core2Duo
4MB RAM
Windows Vista 32 bit operating system
Nvidia 8600M GS 1GB graphics card
There are obviously a couple of bugs in the beta release shown and these of course would not be in the code when released to the public in the official 1.5 release.
AccuRC 1.5 will bring significant physics rate improvements to all of our customers it isn't just for allowing old laptops to run AccuRC
