Just moved to Germany. Looking for a flying field the Vaihingen / Stuttgart area. My main bird is Nitro.

Maybe you can find some other pilots near Stuttgart in the menu "Mitgliederkarte" on top of the webpage (in English this would be named user map).

When you hover above the preferred (or nearest) location, you can find the users with the corresponding ZIP code.
Try to find users which match your preferred ZIP-code for Vaihingen.
And then you can write a private message to get the field, where they fly.

P.S.: If you are willing to drive appr. 30km southerly you can find near Heimsheim and Weil der Stadt very nice fields.

if you have a german insurance (DMFV is like AMA in the US - i personally have both ...) you are welcome at my club on saturday this week (due a holiday it isn't allowed to fly on sunday at our field).

It is here: So finden Sie unseren Platz - very close to the Autobahn (direction Singen), exit Hildrizhausen.

I will be there from 10 or 11 in the morning, possibly until sunset

Try to test the place RV told you, or fly electric.

RV, Thank you for the information about the one field. Weather permitting I will def atleast drive out and see what is going on. Having a problem getting the DMFV since they do not having a english site. I will figure it out before spring.

They allow night flying? Or would it have to be electric for that?

Fingolg, I have one electric bird that i like to fly. Saving up to get a bigger electric bird.
